2.3 Use of contact form and newsletter

Through our web store we offer the possibility to ask questions by means of a contact form, in which you are also asked to fill in data that enables us to process your question more easily. You choose which data you provide when doing so. The data you send us will be deleted by default within 30 days and otherwise kept as long as the content of your message suggests that this is necessary for the complete answering and handling of it.

When sending messages through the web store, we use the following data:

We also offer a newsletter to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. Each newsletter contains a link that allows you to unsubscribe easily. Your e-mail address is automatically added to the database of our e-mail software from where, under a processing agreement, we ensure the safe handling of your personal data.

With our portal you can access a management environment where you yourself can set up, specify, change and in theory even anonymize such things as address data.

Advertising

In addition to the information on our website, we may notify you of our new products and services: by email, social media, push notifications, telephone or other means of communication. When using our online store by default, no data are published. If this happens, then you choose what information you publish; think for example of the like or according to our social media channels.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our web store. We have entered into a processing agreement with Google to agree on how to handle our data. Furthermore, we have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services. Finally, all IP addresses of measured traffic are anonymized.

Security

We take careful security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data. These measures are part of our processes and are reviewed periodically.

Retention periods

The personal data described above will be kept for as long as necessary to process your orders, including warranty. Thereafter, we store your data for up to one year for the statistical purposes described above. The data is then deleted, unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer retention (such as the seven-year tax retention obligation for payment data).

Websites of third parties

In our shop you will also find links to other parties’ websites or references to us. Although we select and monitor these links with care, we are not responsible for the processing of your data via these websites. This privacy statement does not apply to them.
